Dave Colebourn (Saxophone) and Zach Bartlett (Bass) both share in Pop sensibilities, which complement the compositions of Ollie Grant (Drums)In their deepest indulgences, their emotive, intentional playing, serve up undeniably infectious performances. Their creativity has evolved onstage at prestigious venues like The Gallimaufry and Bristol Beacon, and they have explored collaboration, catching the eye of Theon Cross (Sons of Kemet)
Tennihockla:
Mildred Maude’s Lee Wade (bass) and Matt Ashdown (guitar/synths) team up with free-jazz drummer Taylor Daley to improvise part of a continually existing and imploding wall of sound. Distorted guitars, live electronics, and motorik rhythms meet disjointed drums and Lucozade-fueled breaks (with smashed up atonal rackets to boot)… maybe.
