About The Event
Tony Fox is the alias of Antonia Fox. TONY FOX is an androgynous and mysterious character who nobody really knows apart from the fox itself, who comes to every gig. She grew up in the depths of West Cornwall, where post-industry economic deprivation meets the seaside holiday village.
The band’s music portrays this landscape, with tones of punk through powerful, poetry-led lyrics about the underbelly of society, where art began. Tony Fox has something to say.
The band is currently a three-piece yet they have a big sound. Repetitive rhythms with tones of krautrock and post punk driving bass lines, psych guitar and a raw performance makes this a unique, powerful and moving performance.
Tony Fox and her band create their own sound, away from engineered bands and technical perfection. This is about heart, where rock and roll began. This is the release of their debut album 'Holy Dancing Fox'.
