Xasthur (+ Lukas Häger Support)

Xasthur (USA) brings "Variations of Disharmony", his first ever EU tour, to Falmouth, accompanied by Lukas Häger (Sweden). This neo-folk / dark folk performance is drawn by Falmouth's deep roots in arts and Cornish folklore.

One of the most prolific names in underground metal, Xasthur is a one-man project by Malefic (Scott Conner). Its scarring releases since 1995 have irreparably darkened depressive black metal (DSBM). In recent years, Xasthur's disharmonic, contemplative, and devastatingly beautiful sound has evolved into an acoustic expression. This show is the first and likely the last time Xasthur's dark brilliance will descend on Kernow.

Lukas Häger brings a unique soundscape combining blues, folk and ambient harmonies. His expressive, improvised playing style has a darkly lulling and melancholy atmosphere that will leave you feeling deeply introspective and inspired.
